[C106 Cosplay Bulletin] Scorching Summer Comic Special! Official Cosplayers & High Quality Cosplayers!

On August 16, 2025, Comic Market 106 (C106) finally opened!

This year’s Summer Comic Festival is truly “scorching hot” in one word…. According to the weather report, the highest temperature in central Tokyo today was 34 degrees Celsius. However, the heat from the asphalt at Big Sight and the heat from the people made the temperature feel much higher than that. Sweat was pouring from the asphalt and the heat from the people at Big Sight, making it a tough condition to be in.

I would like to express my sincere respect to all the cosplayers who made the event more exciting with their wonderful smiles and performances despite such circumstances!

So, as a preliminary version of the C106 Cosplay Report, we would like to introduce some of the cosplayers at the corporate booths and some of the cosplayers who attracted attention in the outdoor area!

First thing in the morning

As usual, the venue for this year’s Comiket was Tokyo Big Sight. The moment I get off at the Kokusai Tenjijo Station on the Rinkai Line and see the sweltering heat and waves of people, I realize that “this season has arrived.

Of course, the line from the station is quite long.

This photo was taken around 10:00 AM.
It was already scorching hot. Everyone participating in this event should remember to drink plenty of water!

It seems that the population of cosplayers is increasing every year, and the range of expression is broadening. This year, in particular, we saw a lot of creative cosplayers who were trying to find ways to look comfortable and unique in this extremely hot weather.

It is a unique sight at Comiket to see a variety of expressions, from handmade figurative works to ideas that make you giggle and laugh.
